About Us

Charter #1770 has been anchoring northeast Delray Beach since the early 20th century, and the building at 265 NE 4th Ave still carries that weight. Walk through the front door and you get it immediately: this is a place where people know each other's names, where the bar tab is reasonable, and where the parking lot fills up because people genuinely want to be here.

The Pineapple Ballroom is the crown jewel. Named with a nod to Delray Beach's agricultural roots, it seats enough guests for a proper wedding reception, a milestone birthday bash, or a charity gala without feeling cavernous. The room has hosted hundreds of events over the decades, and the bones are solid: real wood floors, dependable air conditioning, and a layout that actually works for both a seated dinner and a dance floor.

Beyond the ballroom, the lodge functions as a neighborhood bar and grill where members and their guests come for cold drinks, decent food, and the kind of conversation that doesn't require a Wi-Fi password. With a 4.5-star rating across 126 reviews, the regulars clearly keep coming back.

What We Offer

The Pineapple Ballroom is available for private events of all sizes, from intimate rehearsal dinners to full-scale wedding receptions. The lodge's event team works with couples, nonprofit organizers, and corporate hosts to configure the space, coordinate catering, and handle the logistics that make a venue rental actually worth it.

On any given evening, the bar and grill side of the house serves up cold drinks and a rotating menu of crowd-pleasing food. Card shows, community fundraisers, and Elks-sponsored charitable events fill the calendar throughout the year, giving members and guests a reason to stop in beyond just happy hour. Guest memberships and sponsored visits are available, so you don't need a card to experience what the lodge offers.

The Elks Lodge #1770 also supports veterans' programs, youth scholarships, and local community initiatives through the national BPOE mission. Membership applications are open to qualified candidates who want more than just a venue, they want a community with a purpose.

"The most horrible experience ever! Valentine's day for us and our friends at this place was unacceptable. And this what the club provided First was $35,00 per person for nothing, but they told us , this money goes for charities . This was fine! Food they served was horrible They ran out of salad only 15 minutes after they started serving the food, all they had was pasta, lasagna and some chicken ( all food was mostly carbs) . They told us "No more salad." This is fine also. We can eat well at home. People who operate were so rude and not nice. The only thing was a good performer and music who they hired. All of our 12 friends said They never go there again!"

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
